My name is Amanda, owner and maker behind Arbor Leigh.

I began making pottery as a high school student, and after a long hiatus, picked it back up in 2017 and dreamt of someday turning it into a business. In the early days of the pandemic, I began working with polymer clay as a way to keep busy and continue creating art from home. I was quickly drawn to the process - of designing and building something from start to finish - and the idea of creating for others enjoyment. Thus, Arbor Leigh was established in August 2020. Arbor, after my home town of Ann Arbor, Michigan; and Leigh, my middle name.

Sharing this art with you brings me a profound sense of joy, vulnerability, and purpose. As a lifelong hobby enthusiast with a passion for aesthetic and artistic expression, it’s an honor to be able to create pieces that are inspired by the things that bring me joy, such as nature, travel, and vibrant colors, and know that they will end up with new people in new places.
